I've been in love with Art for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until Middle school that I really developed a love for photography. I started out dabbling into a lot of concept and landscape photography before switching to portrait photography. That was when I completely fell in love all over again. Being able to capture moments and making them last a lifetime is such an amazing feeling. My photography really took off when I got married and made a lifechanging move to Germany. My husband had been National Guard for a few years, but moving into an Active Duty community setting was like moving to another planet. It took a lot of getting used to, but I got the hang of it rather quickly. Germany itself was life changing. In the year that my husband was deployed, I spend a lot of time reserching cameras. It was then that I set my heart on the Canon Digital Rebel XT. My husband suprised me with that beauty not long after coming home from Iraq. April 2006 to be exact. You could not pull us apart. That camera was glued to my hand, and no exceptions were made. In 2007 the XTi made it's apperance in stores, and I upgraded, and of course, fell in love again. I still use this as a back-up camera, but use the Canon Digital Rebel XSi as my main camera now. My equiptment is as follows; Canon Digital rebel XTi, Canon Digital Rebel XSi, Canon 18-55 mm, Canon 18-55 (IS) mm, Canon 75-300 mm, and a mobile studio. I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 for any photo retouching.I'm now a mother to two amazing, and beautiful children. One boy, and one girl. My husband and I have also taken Legal Guardianship of my 17 year old brother, who has lived with us since 2007. My life is just how I want it to be, which is what really matters. I believe that when you get portraits taken, weather it be anything from Maternity to Family shoots and anything in between, that you should be as comfortable as possible. It should be a fun and positive experience! I understand that no family is like another. Some children might need more time to adjust to a new person, and babies don't exactly follow any schedule. That's why I'll do my bet to work with each and every family and every situation that comes along.

Deployments & homecomings are such a huge part of our Military's life. Even so they are very important events in our life that many times we've wished we'd captured. Homecomings are $100.00. With this session you will receive a High Resolution disk with a print release form.
Birth session $200.00+tax.
Your birth can be the most emotional and overbearing experience you'll ever go through. While you may not feel like it's a blessing or a beautiful thing in the process,
you'll defiantly feel that way afterwards. Why not capture the moment so you'll always have the memories? (The less painful ones!) All Birth sessions come with a High Resolution CD and a Print release form.

I do touch-up's on digital pictures taken during my photo shoots for free. It's done automatically, unless stated otherwise.
Traveling charges will only apply when the location is out of the local region (Fort Hood, Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove. A fee of .25/mile will be charged.
Charges will be based on total miles to and from location. (Will be determined with Google Maps.)

frequently asked questions
1. Why don't you list prices for weddings, or events?
-I base wedding & event prices on several factors. Allowing me to customize your wedding package will save you money($$$)! Not everyone has the same wedding, some are longer, some are shorter, whatever the case, I want to make sure I'm not over charging you for anything.
2. I'm not local, but I'd still like to use your services, will you travel?
-Yes! If you check the investment page you'll see my pricing for travel. Be aware, if you'd like me to travel please contact me at least two weeks in advance so I can guarentee avialibility.
3. What's up with the High Resolution CD's?
-To be completely honest, any photographer who will do this will lose a ton of money. Why? Becuase after the Digital negatives are sold, you not longer have to pay photographer pricing for prints, you can take them anywhere you'd like to have them printed. (Which saves you TONS of money if you're planning on getting larger prints or a large amount of prints.
It gives you the option to make prints at any time without having to contact me and wait for me to order them as well.
So why do I do it? Simple, I live in the same world you do, I don't like having to pay outragous prices for prints either. I try not to over charge becuase I'd rather you be happy, and have wonderful photographs. What better way to do that than offer reasonable prices!
4. Why do you charge sales tax?
-Oh the good ol' sate of Texas. :) I am required by law to charge a sales tax on all monies I collect when providing my services. .
5. Ok, I get all of that, but what's up with the Photographer's fee?
-Well, Photographer's need to eat too! The fee covers my laboring time ( taking the photographs) transportation, and editing (Which can take a few days to complete on some shoots) So if you think about it, that's a lot of work, for a small amount of money.

I recently had the opportunity to work the Amanda Bailey in doing three-year old pictures for my triplets, and all I can say is incredible. I have always dreaded getting Amanda, Bradley and Christophers annual picture taken because having three children pose together at once can be nearly impossible. However, Amanda Bailey really got to know the kids, talked to them and let them be themselves while snapping some incredible photos. She was patient, kind and really worked very well with the children. These are the first pictures all of three of them together that shows who they really are. I can not wait to get our family photo taken by her - I know that the pictures she will take will be just perfect for us.
